Annex 111 module H

PED 2014/68/EU Module H-certified manufacturer of pressure equipment

Dana Tank is PED 2014/68/EU Module H certified and therefore holds full quality management approval for the design, manufacture, final inspection, and documentation of pressure equipment. The certification means that Dana Tank operates under an approved quality system covering the entire process—from the initial technical assessment to the finished CE-marked product.

The EU Pressure Equipment Directive sets extensive requirements for manufacturers of pressure vessels, tanks, and other pressure equipment. These requirements include, among other things, design, material selection, welding, inspection, testing, documentation, and traceability. Annex III Module H is one of the most comprehensive forms of approval because it assesses not only the individual product, but the manufacturer’s entire quality management system.

For Dana Tank, the certification means that our processes have been assessed and approved by a notified body. At the same time, the quality system is continuously monitored to ensure that the requirements continue to be met. This gives customers confidence that production is carried out according to established, documented, and controlled procedures.

CE marking with documented system responsibility

With this approval, Dana Tank can CE mark relevant vessels and tanks without external third-party inspection of each individual product. This is because our overall system responsibility for design, production, welding, inspection, and final inspection has been approved as the basis for the conformity assessment. This creates an efficient and well-documented process where safety and quality requirements are maintained at a high level.

For the customer, this means a delivery with full traceability throughout the entire production process. Material certificates, welding procedures, welder qualifications, inspection and test plans, inspection reports, and technical documentation are included as an integral part of quality assurance. Each project is handled with a focus on correct execution, consistent quality, and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.

Dana Tank’s quality system supports a systematic approach to risk management and technical control. When manufacturing pressure equipment, it is crucial that all relevant factors are assessed correctly—including pressure, temperature, medium, material selection, design, and intended use. These assessments form a standard part of our technical and production process.

Traceability, operational reliability, and European compliance

The certification is particularly relevant for customers in industry, process plants, energy, food production, chemicals, and other sectors where pressure vessels and tanks are critical components in operations. In these environments, documented quality, operational reliability, and compliance with legislation are essential for stable and safe production.

As a PED 2014/68/EU Module H certified manufacturer, Dana Tank has approved responsibility for the entire production process. This gives the customer a single partner with documented expertise in design, manufacturing, inspection, and CE marking of pressure equipment.

The certification is therefore more than a formal approval. It reflects a well-established quality culture in which technical precision, traceability, and safety are embedded in every phase of production. Dana Tank delivers pressure vessels and tanks with documented quality, high operational reliability, and compliance with applicable European requirements.
